Bat Your Eyes, Wander Away, Sleep Well

Look closely but do not strain
(for the effort you would need not)
center your gaze upon a modest one,
capture his attention, bat your eyes.

Let the aura proceed you,
and let it follow and swallow;
drowning or swimming or floating,
I will follow you, even if you wander away.

You may bat your eyes, wander away,
something will always remain,
even in an instant, a flash of light
a clasp of fingers,
a touch of lips,
that I will sleep well.

(for you are in my dreams now)
